With the final tour stop on 22 February 2026 in Halle (Saale), the first nationwide live tour “Komm, wir finden’s raus!” with Julian Janssen came to a successful close. Over the course of more than two months, the format delighted families in numerous cities – with very strong attendance, many nearly sold-out venues, and consistently positive feedback.
Julian Janssen, known as “Checker Julian” from the KiKA science show, has impressively managed the leap from television to the live stage. From Bonn to Berlin, Hamburg and Munich, and on to Lübeck and Rostock, one thing became clear: there is a strong demand for high-quality, interactive family entertainment with an educational focus.
What makes “Komm, wir finden’s raus!” special is its direct engagement with the audience. Children become part of the show, conduct experiments live on stage, and experience science as something tangible, exciting, and inspiring. Knowledge isn’t just explained – it’s experienced, through surprising experiments, visual elements, and real hands-on moments.
“I’m absolutely thrilled that the tour was so well received by the children,” says Julian Janssen. “It was wonderful to finally meet so many kids who know me from my shows. I’ve also heard from many who have tried the experiments at home. I’m really happy that the spark of curiosity has caught on!”
A particular highlight was Julian’s trip to the USA in search of dinosaur tracks. The stories that emerged from this journey, along with a specially produced short film – created with experienced animation professionals – added a visual storytelling layer to the live experience and offered fascinating insights into the world of animation.
“For us, this tour was far more than just a successful series of events,” summarizes tour promoter Jan Mewes. “‘Komm, wir finden’s raus!’ is a strong starting point and sends a powerful signal for bringing science to children as an adventure full of fun and shared experiences. The tremendous response and high demand clearly show that there is great interest in a continuation.”
With this successful premiere, the foundation has been laid for a follow-up tour in 2027. “Komm, wir finden’s raus!” has established itself as a powerful, emotional live format in the family segment – with significant potential for further partnerships, new venues, and sustainable growth.
