As part of her “Streetlights and Stars” European Tour 2026, Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Amanda Shires is coming to Germany for two exclusive concerts. Fans can look forward to intense live evenings in Berlin and Hamburg. Pre-sale started on February 20 at 10 AM on myticket.de, eventim.de, and at all known ticket outlets.

Amanda Shires is one of the most fascinating voices in contemporary American music. Since she played violin with the legendary Texas Playboys at the age of 15, the artist from West Texas has relentlessly followed her artistic instincts. With her unique blend of Americana, folk, country, and indie rock, her poetically nuanced lyrics, and her distinctive voice, she has built an extraordinary career.

She collaborated with icons like John Prine and Justin Townes Earle and was named “Emerging Artist of the Year” by the Americana Music Association in 2017. Additionally, she is the founder of the acclaimed supergroup “The Highwomen,” alongside Natalie Hemby, Maren Morris, and Brandi Carlile.

For her solo album “Take It Like A Man,” Shires has received nothing but praise from critics. The song cycle, which was written and recorded during the lockdown, is a brutally honest reflection of her life as a woman in turbulent times.

In Autumn 2025, her highly anticipated new album “Nobody’s Girl” was released. It was produced by Lawrence Rothman in Nashville and Los Angeles and features renowned musicians such as Jay Bellerose, Pino Palladino, and Fred Eltringham. Richly layered yet intimate, “Nobody’s Girl” is primarily an emotional statement.

“This album is not a breakup album. It is a survival album,” says Shires. Instead of losing herself in pain, she addresses every moment of loss in songs like “A Way It Goes,” “Maybe I,” “Piece of Mind,” and “The Details,” thereby gaining a new strength. “I am nobody’s girl. I belong to myself,” she summarizes the essence of the album.

Amanda Shires is a live event: With violin, fiddle, tenor guitar, or ukulele, she creates an atmosphere that is both vulnerable and powerful. Her concerts are intense, intimate, and full of musical nuances – they are evenings that resonate deeply.

As part of her “Streetlights and Stars” European Tour, Amanda Shires brings her new songs and selected highlights from her career to Europe – and for two exclusive shows, also to Germany.
