Great anticipation in Gronau, the “music city in the countryside”: on 14 and 15 August 2026, the popular festival “SummerFeelings – DAS Gronau Open Air” will return once again. For two days, the Euregio border town will open its gates and present two top-class programs in the music arena on the large open-air site next to the Bürgerhalle. For the first time, the local promoter Westfalen Events is cooperating with Mewes Entertainment Group GmbH, part of DEAG. Tickets will be available from 28 November 2025 via Myticket, CTS Eventim, the SummerFeelings Open Air website, and all official advance booking outlets.
At the “Night of Pop” on Friday, 14 August 2026, Mark Forster will headline the festival. Also appearing in Gronau are chart high-flyers ClockClock and singer Philipp Dittberner, among others. On Saturday, 15 August 2026, the program turns to “Schlager Kult” at its finest: entertainer Howard Carpendale, hitmaker Nik P., and exceptional artist Maite Kelly will perform live with their bands, delivering a true firework of hits and a grand “mega party.”
Mark Forster already thrilled more than 8,000 visitors in Gronau’s festival arena four years ago and is looking forward to returning to the “music city in the countryside” with a new show and his biggest hits.
Pop band ClockClock has been a fixture in the airplay and radio charts for years with multiple No. 1 hits, including Brooklyn, Someone Else, Love U Again, and Sorry. Their appearance on the TV format Sing meinen Song – Das Tauschkonzert further boosted their profile. Known for their powerful live shows, the band promises an unforgettable evening with songs that go straight to the heart.
Philipp Dittberner is known for his authentic and emotional German-language pop songs. He celebrated his breakthrough in 2015 with the hit Wolke 4 and has since become a permanent fixture on the German music scene, followed by songs such as Das ist dein Leben and Gib mir einen Grund. The singer-songwriter is currently celebrating his 10th anniversary on stage and completes the “Night of Pop” lineup in Gronau.
Following sold-out festivals featuring Roland Kaiser (2023) and Andreas Gabalier (2024), the organizers are especially looking forward to Howard Carpendale & Band on Saturday, 15 August 2026. With more than 65 million records sold, countless sold-out tours, and dozens of No. 1 hits, the South Africa–born singer who became a Schlager superstar in Germany will perform timeless classics such as Hello Again, Ti Amo, Nachts, wenn alles schläft, Wegen dir, Tür an Tür mit Alice, and Du fängst den Wind niemals ein.
Maite Kelly & Band will add another major highlight that day. Under the motto “Schlagerherz & Flower Power!”, she will celebrate loudly with the audience, dance barefoot, dream under the stars, and share the anthems of our lives. Her shows are described as 100% Schlagerpunk, 100% flower power, 100% heart – authentic, direct, and full of energy, with new hits and legendary songs from Kaiser to Haddaway.
Nik P., a passionate musician and one of Austria’s best-known live performers, became famous in Germany in the late 1990s with his self-written song Ein Stern, der deinen Namen trägt. Nearly ten years after its original release, the duet version with DJ Ötzi became a massive smash hit. In Gronau, he will perform with his band and delight audiences with further hits such as Geboren um dich zu lieben and Gloria, creating a true cult atmosphere.
To kick off the nearly seven-hour Schlager party, Germany’s most-listened-to Schlager station, Radio Schlagerparadies, will present a dedicated show block featuring “newcomers and young talents” in the afternoon – a lively warm-up and the perfect introduction to the Schlager celebration in Gronau.
