It was a piano lid that opened and a little girl who from that moment on never wanted to let go. Madlen Rausch was five years old when she fell in love with “the first note.” Because of this, her father cashed in his savings plan to buy her a used piano. This is how a story began that today delights Schlager fans all over Germany. From her small hometown on the Swabian Alps, the singer has made it to the big stages of the country. She has performed with Florian Silbereisen and in the ZDF Fernsehgarten. She also sang a duet with Bernhard Brink and even took on a key role on GZSZ. As a result, her debut single “Womit hab ich dich verdient” shot her straight into the top 10 of the Schlager airplay charts.

After graduating from high school, Madlen initially studied political science. Because she “just wanted to save the world at that moment.” Yet even in her essays, everything revolved around music. Alongside her studies, she also completed musical training and toured with a musical troupe across the country. When the pandemic closed theaters, she had to fend for herself with small singing performances. Still, she held on to her dream. In 2022, she finally found her breakthrough at the Schlager-Olymp and signed her first record deal. Then, in 2025, she made the leap to the major label Universal/Electrola.

What makes Madlen Rausch special is her honesty. She openly speaks about self-doubt and turns that very vulnerability into her strength. To this day, she recalls the moment she first heard her own single on the car radio: “I pulled over to the side. And I cried. A rush of happiness that I simply cannot express in words.” Because of this, she imparts this feeling to her growing fanbase with every song: “Each song tells a bit of my story and perhaps a piece of yours too.” With her warm voice, her piano playing, and her down-to-earth nature, Madlen Rausch also proves that this blend truly touches hearts.
