Summer Feelings open air 2026

Great anticipation in Gronau, the music city in green: The popular festival “SummerFeelings-THE Gronau-Open-Air” will take place again next year on August 14 and 15, 2026. For two days, the Euregio border town opens its gates, offering visitors two outstanding programs in the music arena on the large open area by the Bürgerhalle. The local event agency Westfalen Events is cooperating for the first time with the Mewes Entertainment Group GmbH, part of DEAG. Tickets will be available from November 28, 2025, via Myticket, CTS Eventim, SummerFeelings-Open-Air, and all other ticket outlets.

On Saturday, August 15 2026, it will be all about “Schlager-Cult” at its finest. Entertainer HOWARD CARPENDALE, the “star-maker” NIK P, and the exceptional artist MAITE KELLY will deliver a true fireworks display and ensure a grand ‘Mega-Party’ live with their bands.

After the sold-out festivals featuring Roland Kaiser (2023) and Andreas Gabalier (2024), the organizers are particularly looking forward to HOWARD CARPENDALE & Band on Saturday, August 15, 2026. With over 65 million records sold, countless sold-out live tours, and dozens of No. 1 hits, the South African-born singer has become a Schlager superstar in Germany. His generation-spanning evergreens like “Hello Again,” “Ti Amo,” “Nachts, wenn alles schläft,” “Wegen Dir,” “Tür an Tür mit Alice,” and “Du fängst den Wind niemals ein” are absolute Schlager classics.

Another highlight entertainer on this day will be MAITE KELLY & Band, rocking the stage. Under the motto “Schlagerherz & Flower-Power!” the exceptional artist will celebrate loudly with the audience, dance barefoot, dream under the stars, and share the anthems of our lives. As a hippie-kid traveling around the world in a bus, she considers the “outside” as her second living room. Her shows are 100% Schlager punk, 100% flower power, 100% heart! Real, authentic, straightforward. No Chi-Chi, no fake – just Maite and her best band. With new hits and legendary songs from Kaiser to Haddaway, Maite Kelly has everything in her picnic basket for the Schlager night in Gronau.

NIK P, a true musician and one of Austria’s most well-known and best live artists for years, became famous in Germany at the end of the 90s with his self-written song “Ein Stern der deinen Namen trägt.” Almost ten years after its first release, the new version as a duet with DJ Ötzi became an absolute mega-smash hit. NIK P. will wow the audience in Gronau with his hits like “Geboren um dich zu lieben” and “Gloria,” creating the perfect “cult atmosphere.”
