RILKE PROJEKT
Mewes Entertainment presents
Schönherz & Fleer - Rilke Projekt - The Anniversary Tour
To celebrate the 150th birthday of the renowned poet Rainer Maria Rilke, Angelica Fleer & Richard Schönherz, in collaboration with the Mewes Entertainment Group, are bringing Europe’s most successful poetry project back to the stage: “so viel Himmel” – The Anniversary Tour 2025. For over two decades, the award-winning Rilke Project has captivated audiences with a unique blend of poetry, music, and theater. Now it’s time for a touching retrospective – emotional, poetic, and featuring top-tier talent.
25 Years of the Rilke Project – 150 Years of Rainer Maria Rilke
A double anniversary is being celebrated: 150 years of Rainer Maria Rilke – and 25 years of the Rilke Project. Since 2001, Schönherz & Fleer have been bringing the poet’s words to the stage in a new musical form – driven by emotional music and voiced by some of the most recognized voices of our time.
Joining the tour in 2025 are acclaimed actors Nina Hoger and Dietmar Bär (known from the Cologne “Tatort”), supported by a top-notch live band featuring Richard Schönherz (piano), Ali Neander (guitar), Mathias “Maze” Leber (accordion, keys), Andreas Neubauer (drums), and rotating guest singers.
A Poetic Sound Journey – Experience Rilke Anew
Whether it’s “The Panther,” “Autumn Day,” or musical rediscoveries from letters, poems, and memories – “so much sky” brings Rilke’s world of thoughts to life in a profoundly moving way. In finely crafted arrangements, word and music merge into an extraordinary experience filled with emotion, depth, and beauty.
The texts are not only recited but lived – with a level of expressiveness that honors Rilke’s work. The audience can look forward to a selection of the most beautiful highlights from all previous Rilke Project albums – complemented by new, previously unheard interpretations and musical surprises.
Timeless Poetry Meets Contemporary Sound
With their distinctive style, Schönherz & Fleer have shaped the genre of poetry music. Since their first meeting in 1997 in California, they have wholeheartedly dedicated themselves to the art of embracing words with sounds. Their Rilke projects feature stars like Ben Becker, Peter Maffay, Iris Berben, Max Mutzke, Otto Sander, Udo Lindenberg, Nina Hagen, Christiane Paul, and many more – both on CD and on stage.
A Feast for the Senses – Full of Emotion, Depth, and Poetry
“We are very excited about our anniversary tour 2025/2026, to celebrate Rilke’s milestone birthday with our loyal audience. For us, it’s a heartfelt matter – and also a small anniversary: 25 years of the Rilke Project.”
