Amanda Shires - „Streetlights and Stars“ European Tour 2026
As part of her “Streetlights and Stars” European Tour 2026, Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Amanda Shires will perform two exclusive concerts in Germany. Fans can look forward to intense live evenings in Berlin and Hamburg.
Amanda Shires is one of the most captivating voices in contemporary American music. Since playing violin with the legendary Texas Playboys at the age of 15, the West Texas native has relentlessly followed her artistic instincts. With her unique blend of Americana, Folk, Country, and Indie Rock, her poetically nuanced lyrics, and her distinctive voice, she has built an extraordinary career.
She has collaborated with icons such as John Prine and Justin Townes Earle and was named “Emerging Artist of the Year” by the Americana Music Association in 2017. Moreover, she is the founder of the celebrated supergroup “The Highwomen,” alongside Natalie Hemby, Maren Morris, and Brandi Carlile.
Her solo album “Take It Like A Man” received critical acclaim. The song cycle, written and recorded during the lockdown, is a brutally honest reflection of her life as a woman in turbulent times.
In the fall of 2025, her highly anticipated new album “Nobody’s Girl” was released. Produced by Lawrence Rothman in Nashville and Los Angeles, it features prominent musicians like Jay Bellerose, Pino Palladino, and Fred Eltringham. Sonically rich yet intimate, “Nobody’s Girl” serves primarily as an emotional statement.
“This album is not a breakup album. It’s a survival album,” says Shires. Instead of losing herself in pain, she confronts every moment of loss in songs like “A Way It Goes,” “Maybe I,” “Piece of Mind,” or “The Details,” gaining newfound strength. “I’m nobody’s girl. I belong to myself,” she sums up the essence of the album.
Amanda Shires is an experience live: With violin, fiddle, tenor guitar, or ukulele, she creates an atmosphere that is both vulnerable and powerful. Her concerts are intense, intimate, and full of musical intricacies—nights that resonate deeply.
As part of her “Streetlights and Stars” European Tour, Amanda Shires brings her new songs and selected highlights from her previous career to Europe—and for two exclusive dates, also to Germany.
