One heart, one voice – Stefanie Heinzmann and her path with pop and soul

Stefanie Heinzmann pop singer from Valais, Switzerland moves audiences with warmth, humility, and a voice that creates closeness. Since her 2008 breakthrough she has grown steadily; therefore the list of highlights keeps expanding and inspiring.

“I am incredibly grateful every day that I get to do this job,” she says. This mindset shapes her art as she blends modern pop sensibility with soul roots. Seven albums, awards like Echo, Comet, 1Live Krone and the Swiss Music Award, and a Swiss No. 1 with All We Need Is Love mark her path. An acoustic reinterpretation with the Kaiser Quartett let these songs shine anew. Labyrinth (2021) conveys compassion and motivation; the 2025 album Circles opens her most personal chapter – a journey across quiet and loud moments that leaves traces.

Encounters through music matter to her. She has sung with Lionel Richie, Joss Stone, and Tower of Power, toured with James Blunt, and recorded with Peter Maffay. In 2023 she released a compelling duet with Stress in English and French, performed at his MTV Unplugged session. The collaboration with the Mikis Takeover! Ensemble transformed her pop songs into classical arrangements, celebrated twice in one day in the sold-out Grand Hall of the Elbphilharmonie.

The stage remains her home: with her band she has played concerts worldwide; therefore her live energy brought her to the legendary Apollo Theater in New York. In 2023 she marked 15 years under the motto Celebrating Love & Live with sold-out shows and a special appearance at Rea Garvey’s Christmas Calling. In fall 2026 she returns on a major tour through Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. At the same time she empowers young talent as juror and mentor on The Voice of Switzerland, Popstars, and KiKA Dein Song, while appearing on formats such as the Free Eurovision Song Contest, The Masked Singer, and Sing meinen Song.

Her commitment extends beyond the stage. As ambassador for the Deutsche KinderhospizSTIFTUNG and UNICEF Switzerland and Liechtenstein she listens, travels, and gives projects a voice; in 2023 that took her to Burundi. She supported #SayHi, “Mobbing stoppen! Kinder stärken!”, and Lion Kids by Generali and SMA to send strong, encouraging messages. Honored with the Rünzi Prize and as the first honorary citizen of Visp, she carries her music outward: “I feel my roots very strongly and know where home is. But I also know where I want to take my music: outward.
