For over four decades, BAP, fronted by Wolfgang Niedecken, has shaped the German music scene – unmistakable in sound, unwavering in attitude. Founded in the early 1980s, the band made music history with songs like “Verdamp lang her” and “Kristallnaach”, while also documenting the social history of the time – always in Kölsch, yet with a universal message.

From the streets of Cologne to the biggest stages – BAP has achieved cult status in Germany, having more number one albums than the Beatles. But it’s more than just music: commitment against racism, political trips to Africa, concerts with a message, and literary works are just as much a part of the band’s DNA as unforgettable live experiences.

Despite setbacks like the pandemic-related tour pause or Niedecken’s stroke in 2011, BAP has always stayed true to themselves: authentic, relatable, emotional. With albums like “Alles fließt”, the “DYLANREISE”, and the “Familienalbum – Reinrassije Strooßekööter”, they continue to set creative milestones today.

2022 marked a new chapter in their storied history with the UNENDLICH-Tour – a clear statement: BAP is far from finished.
